On April 30, Gov. Chris Gregoire signed 32 bills into law, including:
- Substitute Senate Bill 5566, relating to harmonizing excise tax statutes with the streamlined sales and use tax agreement in regards to direct sellers, telecommunications ancillary services, commercial parking taxes and exemption certificates.
- Substitute Senate Bill 5616, relating to connecting business expansion and recruitment to customized training.
- House Bill 2328, relating to reducing the administrative cost of state government.
