Walmart opens hiring center in Vancouver

neighborhood-market-ruralWalmart has opened a temporary hiring center to help fill about 65 jobs at a new Vancouver store slated to open this summer.

The company’s first “Neighborhood Market” in Southwest Washington is under construction in the former Winco Foods space in the Vancouver Plaza shopping complex.

According to store manager Troy Hannah, the store will be hiring both full- and part-time associates.

“We are excited to bring a Walmart Neighborhood Market to Vancouver and add good jobs with great career opportunities to the area,” said Hannah in a press release.

The hiring center is located at 5201 E. Fourth Plain Blvd., No. 101. Interested applicants can apply online at careers.walmart.com, or at the online kiosks at the hiring center.
