The Port of Vancouver USA has canceled its Port RePort Breakfast scheduled for tomorrow morning due to forecasted winter weather conditions.
The annual state of the port event will now occur on Wednesday, April 6, from 7:30 to 9 a.m. at the Red Lion Hotel Vancouver at the Quay.
“Our first consideration in deciding to postpone the event was the safety of our guests,” said Larry Paulson, executive director for the port. “We certainly have good news to share about how the port is On Course delivering jobs and economic benefit to this community, but with the winter weather conditions in the forecast, we decided it’s best to postpone our annual update.”
The port said tickets purchased for tomorrow’s event through the Greater Vancouver Chamber of Commerce will automatically be transferred to April 6. Those ticket holders who are not able to attend the April event are asked to contact the Chamber at 360-694-2588 to request a refund.
