Nautilus production development moving to Vancouver HQ

Nautilus Inc. has announced plans to relocate its Louisville, Colo.,-based product development facility to the company headquarters in Vancouver by March of 2007.

The move is expected to add 40 to 50 positions to the local Nautilus workforce, which employs 550 people. All of the Louisville employees will be given relocation offers, according to Nautilus.

The company will move its 90-employee apparel division from Broomfield, Colo., into the Louisville building, which it owns.

“Having this group together will help to streamline processes, improve team efforts and enhance communication,” said Tim Hawkins, president of the company’s fitness equipment business, in a prepared statement.

Nautilus Inc. was formed in 1986 and has 1,600 employees and operations in seven states and six countries worldwide.
