Who’s on Top?

In a year that has been many things but good for the construction industry, it is somewhat surprising that there are more than 50 projects entered for the Vancouver Business Journal's Southwest Washington Top Projects 2009 – slightly more than Top Projects 2008.

Granted, the construction cost of most projects is lower than in last year, but the region has been busy, nonetheless.

Top Projects is an annual ranking of the largest construction projects to break ground in the last year. It was hosted last year at Battle Ground Center – the No. 1 project. It was the event of the summer in the construction industry.

This year's Top Projects celebration will take place at the Al Angelo Building at 400 Mill Plain Center, the downtown Vancouver office building many have watched rise at Mill Plain Boulevard and "D" Street.

The awards celebration is from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on July 23 at The Al Angelo Building at 400 Mill Plain Center. Registration is required and tickets are $35, available by calling 360-695-2442 or visiting our online registration page.
