12 teams from 10 states will come to Vancouver’s Propstra Stadium for a regional junior league baseball tournament for 13- and 14-year-olds. The tournament, presented by Columbia Credit Union, starts July 31 and ends August 9. This is the first time in 11 years Vancouver has hosted the tournament.
“In addition to attracting visitors and stimulating the economy, supporting this tournament is also a way for us to give back to the thousands of families locally who work hard at creating a strong baseball culture,” said Colleen Boccia, senior vice president for the credit union, in a press release.
Game tickets are available at the gate. The winning team will advance to the Little League World Series in Taylor, Michigan.
