AIA Seattle, an affiliate of the American Institute of Architects, recently named The Miller Hull Partnership, the Seattle architecture firm that designed the new Vancouver Community Library, among the winners at the 2011 Honor Awards for Washington Architecture.
According to the AIA, Jurors appreciated the Vancouver Community Library’s “monumental presence” and felt the “public, semi-private and private spaces worked well together.”
Of the 140 submittals to the 2011 AIA Seattle Honor Awards, only four received an Honor Award.
