Vancouver City Council rates city manager’s performance

The Vancouver City Council recently completed a review of Eric Holmes’ performance in his first year as Vancouver City Manager from fall 2010 to 2011.

The council rated Holmes’ overall performance as “very good” – an 8.34 on a scale of 10. They also discussed how the council and city manager can build on this years’ success and continue to work together to continue successfully navigate the city through the challenging economy.

 “Vancouver is fortunate to have such a talented city manager in Eric Holmes,” said Vancouver Mayor Tim Leavitt. “In tough times like these thoughtful, measured leadership could not be more important. The Vancouver City Council and I are excited to continue work with Holmes in the months and years ahead.”
