The School of Piano Technology for the Blind was recently the recipient of a $3,000 grant from the Community Foundation of Southwest Washington to support its curriculum expansion project.
The school said grant funds will be used to purchase new pianos that will be used to educate students on all phases of new piano preparation for sale, making them more employable in music stores.
Over the years, the Community Foundation has provided more than $60,000 to support projects at the school.
