Steigerwald Commerce Center to break ground August 16

The official groundbreaking ceremony for the Steigerwald Commerce Center on Port of Camas-Washougal property will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, August 16, at the corner of South Truman and 37th Street.

At more than 120 acres, the Steigerwald Commerce Center is the largest contiguous undeveloped parcel of industrial land in Clark County, according to port officials.

The initial phase of the project, made possible by a $1.5 million Washington state grant, will make available 30-40 acres of heavy industrial property. It also includes the construction of a 2,500-foot street into the Steigerwald property.
