Local Congresswoman Jaime Herrera Beutler has announced that 57 local and regional employers have signed up to participate in a September 28 jobs fair in Vancouver at the Red Lion at the Quay from 1 to 6 p.m.
“With so many looking for work in our region, I’m encouraged that such a large number of employers are interested in filling jobs. Hopefully even more will sign up by September 28,” said Herrera Beutler. “This jobs fair is just one way to help job seekers in Southwest Washington.”
Among the employers participating in the hiring event are: Andersen Dairy, Barrett Business Services Inc., Boeing, Global Security, Northwest Natural Products, Prestige Development, Tidewater, WaferTech and WSU Vancouver.
Employers who wish to participate in the event but haven’t yet signed up are still welcome, according to Herrera Beutler. Interested employers should contact Pam Peiper at 360.695.6292.
The event is free for job seekers and employers.
