Cherry City Electric held its annual Charity Golf Tournament last week at Royal Oaks Country Club, where more than $25,000 was raised. Proceeds from the tournament benefited the PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center Foundation.
Organizers said several participants from the business community as well as corporate sponsors took part in this year’s tournament, with the focus being on the community and educating those who have financial constraints that prevent them from receiving adequate diabetes education.
