The Quarry Senior Living, a retirement community located at Vancouver’s Columbia Tech Center, has begun construction of a 72-unit expansion that adds 78,000 square feet of living space to the facility.
Once completed, the expansion will provide both independent and assisted living studio, one and two bedroom apartments for approximately 85 additional residents.
To support the expansion, an additional 25 care and support staff will be hired to serve the additional residents, The Quarry said.
Vancouver-based Gaither & Sons Construction is the general contractor for the project.
The Quarry is owned by local owners Gary & Christine Rood and managed by Lifestyles Senior Housing Managers, also
of Vancouver.
