Dozens of employers to participate in Clark College career fair

Career Days 2012 has been expanded to four days of workshops, skills sessions and events designed to assist students and job seekers. Participants will find resources for career planning, tools and strategies for an effective job search, techniques to sharpen networking skills, and insights on how to get the education they need to meet their career goals.

“As one of the largest community colleges in Washington state and a leader in workforce training, we feel a special responsibility to support our students and the community,” said Clark College President Robert Knight. “Career Days allows us to provide opportunities for people to build their skills as they search for a new job or career. They’ll also have the chance to make connections with industry leaders in our region.”

Among the employers participating in the hiring event are: Accent Business Services; Barrett Business Services Inc.; Blount International Inc.; Columbia Machine; Costco; Farwest Steel; First Aid Only; Fred Meyer; Holland Partner Group; iQ Credit Union; New Seasons Market; PeaceHHealth; Boeing; United Natural Foods Inc.; and WaferTech.

All events, including the April 25 job fair, are free to students and members of the community.
