Downtown Woodland group reduces role

Due to a lack of active members, the Downtown Woodland Revitalization (DWR) announced that it must discontinue some of its ongoing projects at the beginning of next year.

The organization said it will remain active, but with fewer meetings. It plans to produce the Hot Summer Nights concert series at Hoffmann Plaza for the next two years.

DWR has contributed to numerous projects in Woodland during the past 12 years, such as the new streetscape, revitalization of Hoffman Plaza and the purchase of the mascot art and water features.
