Country Campus Learning Center expanding services

County Campus Learning Center (CCLC), located in Battle Ground, recently purchased the third of three buildings located at 213 North Parkway to serve the growing needs of local families. CCLC provides early childhood education programs and child care for children ages one through twelve.

In addition, Country Campus is currently participating in a Washington State Education Pilot Project called QRIS – Quality Rating & Improvement System. The program was initiated by the Washington State Department of Early Learning to increase the quality of care in childcare programs in several communities across the state.

Through QRIS, teachers are offered scholarships for continuing education and on-site coaching. A small grant is also available to help sites improve their quality improvement plans. Part of the program was funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
