Clark Public Utilities recognized for customer service

Clark Public Utilities was recognized at the J.D. Power and Associates Customer Service Roundtable as a J.D. Power 2011 Customer Service Champion – one of only 40 companies to earn that distinction this year.

Clark County enjoys healthy increase in convention & tour bookings

An annual report from the Vancouver USA Regional Tourism Office reveals Clark County experienced a 46 percent increase in convention and group tour bookings last year, representing an economic impact to the region of more than $15 million.

During 2010, 95 conventions booked by the tourism office generated nearly 25,000 room nights – a 39 percent increase compared to 2009. Additionally, 17,079 future room nights were booked extending into 2015.
