Clark County vacancy on the Columbia River Gorge Commission

The Board of County Commissioners is seeking applicants for the Clark County representative position on the Columbia River Gorge Commission.

Gorge Commission members make decisions on land use applications, hear appeals of county land use decisions and review and modify the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area Management Plan. The group meets at various locations throughout the gorge on the second Tuesday of each month, as needed.

The board said some familiarity with the gorge management plan and/or land use planning is desirable. Applicants must reside in Clark County. The opening is immediate and for a term that will expire June 30, 2015.
