Clark County recently received a number of awards in the 2012 National Awards of Excellence Competition (NAEC) regarding public information tools. The NAEC is sponsored by the National Association of County Information Officers (NACIO).
The county earned three first-place awards among counties with fewer than 500,000 people: Special Projects: Managing stormwater (Clark County Environmental Services); Websites and Interactive Media: www.stormwaterpartners.com; and Graphic design – brochures and publications: Clark County Recycling.
The County also received second place in the award for Annual Reports, recognizing the 2011 Report to the Community by Clark County Public Health.
