The Clark County Food Bank officially broke ground on their new distribution center April 26th. The new 21,000 square-foot facility will be built on two lots it purchased in the Cold Creek Industrial Park, just north of Vancouver. Construction is due to be completed by December 2011.
The $4.2 million project is funded by the Clark County Community Development Block Grant Program, a State of Washington Local and Community Projects Program Grant, a HUD Economic Development Initiative Special Project Grant and generous private donations.
