City of Vancouver seeks Public Facilities District Board applicants

The city of Vancouver is seeking applicants for one vacancy on the Vancouver Public Facilities District (PFD) Board of Directors.

The PFD is authorized to acquire, construct, own, remodel, maintain, equip, reequip, repair, finance and operate one or more “regional centers,” such as the Vancouver Convention Center.

The board is appointed by the Vancouver City Council. The current vacancy will be filled based on recommendations by local organizations that include, but are not limited to, the Vancouver Chamber of Commerce, local economic development organizations and local labor councils. All members serve four-year terms.
