The city of Battle Ground has unveiled a new website. The new site, which officially launched last week at www.cityofbg.org, incorporates a host of new and improved features and tools designed to help residents and visitors quickly locate the information and services they seek, the city said.
Battle Ground city staff now monitor and update the website in-house, as opposed to the former site which required a third party to maintain.
Among the website’s new
features are:
• Notify Me – allows users to sign up to receive email or text messages about council meetings, special events, bid postings, job opportunities, news releases and emergency alerts.
• Agenda Center and Archive Center – provides a centralized location for council meeting agendas and minutes, department monthly reports, news releases and more.
• Online Bill Pay – provides utility customers with an option to pay their utility bill online.
• Bid Postings – allows the city to post detailed information on open bids and requests for proposals.
