Celebrities to be “Giving Everyone a Shot” as they “Battle For the Y”

The Giving Everyone A Shot celebrity basketball game is a “must attend” event, if only to see what team hosts RSV Building Solutions and Waste Connections and their celebrity lineups will do to curry favor with the crowd, and how presenting host Landerholm will apply the rulebook.

A fund raiser for the Clark County Family YMCA, this celebrity basketball game is slated for a 7:00 tip off at the YMCA’s recently-expanded facility at 11324 NE 51st Circle in Vancouver, southeast of I-205 and SR 500. Doors open at 6:00 with pre-event activities including food, refreshments and silent auction. Admission is a suggested donation of $5. Advance tickets are not required. Valet parking will be available.

The feature event is a celebrity basketball game featuring the RSV Vikings versus the Waste Connections Warriors. Among the VIPs, business and community leaders confirmed to play: City of Vancouver Mayor Tim Leavitt, Clark College President Bob Knight, Northwest Personal Training owner Sherri McMillan, former Willamette University standout Laura Hoel and Vancouver Volcanoes owner Bryan Hunter.
