water-towerBrush Prairie-based HCI Industrial & Marine Coatings Inc has been contracted to repaint the city of Vancouver’s Water Station 7.

The 1-million-gallon, 115-foot-tall tower, located on the intersection of Northeast 112th Avenue and Northeast 18th Street, has been in need of a repainting for some time, according to the city. It was last painted in 1992.

The project is scheduled to be completed this fall and will give the tower a new dark green finish.
