Advanced Gastroenterology PLLC, a two physician Gastroenterology practice in Vancouver, instituted a free colonoscopy day on March 16th to bring awareness to the disease and to provide a much needed service to the local population in need of medical care.
The business provided colonoscopies to 13 uninsured individuals at no charge to the patients, with the assistance of some vendor donated products and services.
“It was heartwarming and humbling to be thanked by such nice patients,” said Gerry Poitras, a registered nurse.
Advanced Gastroenterology PLLC has served the community since 2006.
