Jeremy Harmon and crewChange is good. For Vancouver-based Tri-Tech Heating and Cooling, change has been very good.

“We’ve been busier – a healthier kind of busy,” Jeremy Harmon, owner of the 21 year-old HVAC company said.

A philosophical change to how Tri-Tech markets and does business has led to quality jobs, happier employees and customers who have come to rely on and refer business to them regularly.

On the surface, not a lot separates HVAC contractors. Harmon focused on making his business stand out from all the rest.

“We have always had an advantage of being versatile – able to handle commercial, industrial and residential jobs. Service has been our strength,” Harmon said.

Kalhagen will serve as FMSIB’s Port Districts representative until June 30, 2018. He replaces FMSIB member Larry Paulson, former executive director of the Port of Vancouver.

FMSIB’s role is to create a state program to promote freight movement among local, national and international markets to boost trade opportunities.

Kalhagen has 31 years of experience in the maritime industry working on the East Coast, Gulf Coast, West Coast and several international posts. A graduate of The University of South Alabama, he has a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and political science and a USCG Limited Masters Ticket.
