In her new role, O’Brien will be responsible for all operations in the $2 billion system, including 10 hospitals, an 800-member multi-specialty group practice and a comprehensive laboratory.

O’Brien is currently senior vice president and group executive officer for Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI), with direct oversight for CHI hospitals in Kansas, Missouri, Arkansas, Pennsylvania and Maryland. She also serves as Integration Leader for CHI, where she has worked since 2007. Prior to joining CHI, O’Brien served as managing director for Navigant Consulting, where she focused on physician alignment, strategy, clinical performance and financial improvement.

The position of chief operating officer is newly created at PeaceHealth.

Heritage Bank has hired Jason Presser to serve as assistant manager of its east Vancouver branch.

Presser has spent the past seven years in the financial services industry, partnering with community-focused financial institutions in Clark County.

He currently sits on the board of directors for the Fruit Valley Foundation, and has been a volunteer football coach for Clark County Youth Football in Battle Ground.
