Scott Carroll

The telecommunications commission is comprised of eight members – four are appointed by the Board of County Commissioners and four by the Vancouver City Council. The commission advises the board and city council, makes reports, monitors compliance and establishes rules and regulations regarding cable television and telecommunications. The group also serves as the advisory body during franchise renewal negotiations with Comcast Cable.

“I am honored to have been selected to represent the citizens of Clark County in this role and believe my years of telecommunications industry experience will help me be a productive contributor to the team,” said Carroll.

Carroll has spent most of his 30-year professional career working in and/or advising the telecommunications industry. His firm helps companies make hiring decisions, build bench strength, retain top talent and increase workplace productivity.

Lindsey SalvestrinLINDSEY SALVESTRIN

Innovative Services NW, a Vancouver-based nonprofit that assists and supports local children, adults and families with disabilities or other disadvantages, recently announced that Lindsey Salvestrin has joined its board of directors.

Salvestrin has been with Columbia Credit Union for 14 years, currently serving as senior vice president of service delivery – project management. She is responsible for providing vision and leadership for the strategic development and management of member service, card services, support services and eServices, as well as all corporate projects.

Salvestrin graduated from Western Washington University with a bachelor of arts degree in business administration with an emphasis in human resources. She served on Innovative’s 50th Anniversary and Caring Heart Round-Up event committees in 2013 and 2014.

Rob Woodard, Chair of Innovative Services NW’s Board of Directors remarked, “We are very excited to have Lindsey on the board. She has many skills including strong leadership, strategic planning, marketing and long-term vision that will be a tremendous asset to the Board.”

Derek FederinkoDEREK FEDERINKO

Derek Federinko of Coldwell Banker Commercial (CBC) Jenkins & Associates in Vancouver has been recognized as one of Coldwell Banker Commercial’s 2013 “Top Two” – a designation reserved for the top two percent of producers from among the almost 2,900 CBC sales professionals organization-wide.

Federinko also earned a spot in the company’s Silver Level Circle of Distinction based on his transaction revenue for 2013. The Circle of Distinction is an honor bestowed upon the top ranking producers among Coldwell Banker Commercial sales professionals.
