Rebound Orthopedics welcomes new chief operating officer

Rebound Orthopedics and Neurosurgery has announced that Denise Smith has accepted the position of new chief operating officer after 22 years at Longview Surgical Group and three years with PeaceHealth Medical Group.

In her new role, Smith will lead Rebound in streamlining processes and improving overall patient experience. She will also work with Rebound providers and staff to increase efficiency, professional productivity and patient, staff and physician satisfaction.

 Smith said she took the position at Rebound because of the business's reputation for excellence in patient care and innovation in technology.  She called the opportunity potentially the highlight of her career in medical group management.

Rebound Orthopedics and Neurosurgery has offices at Southwest Washington Medical Center, Legacy Salmon Creek and Portland's Rose Quarter.

MONICA PAINTON

Educational Opportunities for Children and Families (EOCF) has elected Monica Painton to serve on its board of directors. Painton is a CPA employed at Maul Foster & Alongi, Inc. in Vancouver.

Painton has a bachelor's degree in accounting from Portland State University and serves as treasurer on the board of directors for the Friends of Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge.

EOCF has been a nonprofit provider of early learning and child development education in Clark County for more than 40 years. 

 STACY FROST

Stacy Frost recently accepted the position of engineering manager for HDJ Design Group, PLLC. Frost has provided consulting services at HDJ for more than nine years and specializes in the design and management of projects within port environments and commercial, medical and private development. As engineering manager, Frost will supervise a staff of engineers, designers and technicians at HDJ.

Frost serves as a region 8 governor in the American Society of Civil Engineers and sits on two national committees. He is also a 2006 graduate of Leadership Clark County.
