Jay Eisenberg, M.D., is the new Chief Medical Information Officer at Southwest Washington Medical Center. He will be responsible for the overall direction of the design and implementation databases. Eisenberg spent the last seven years with Cerner Corp. as a physician executive and consultant. He is a pediatrician by training, receiving his medical degree from the Baylor College of Medicine and a Master's degree in Medical Informatics from OHSU.

Second Step Housing hires three new employees

Megan Vaughn joined Second Step Housing as Asset Manager on July 15. Vaughn graduated from Washington State University in Pullman with a degree in communication. She was previously the Managing Editor for the Vancouver Business Journal.

Mary Hopkins and Cydney Velez joined Second Step Housing as family self sufficiency case managers on July 6 to provide case management for current Section 8 and Public Housing tenants. Hopkins has seven years of experience in the social services field, including case management for young adults transitioning out of foster care. Velez has 15 years of experience with mental health and drug/alcohol counseling as well as the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families Jobs Program.
