Miller Nash names Vancouver-based partner to executive committee

The partners of Northwest regional law firm Miller Nash LLP elected a new Vancouver-based partner, LeAnne Bremer, to its five-person executive committee.

Bremer joins Miller Nash's managing partner, Don Burns, and partners Dennis Rawlinson, Guy Towle and Erich Merrill in overseeing the management of the firm. Bremer is the partner in charge of the firm's Vancouver office.

Bremer joined Miller Nash in 1999 and focuses her practice on land use law, real estate and government affairs. Among other activities, Bremer serves on a committee of the Washington Women Lawyers and is a board member of YWCA Clark County.

Claire Lider

Battle Ground city manager John Williams announced city clerk Claire Lider as 2009's Employee of the Year at the State of the City address March 10.

Lider was selected from nine individuals, who were nominated by fellow city of Battle Ground employees for their exemplary efforts on behalf of residents during the past year.  

"Claire demonstrates an exemplary level of service to citizens and colleagues," Williams said. "She is a dedicated professional who has earned the respect and commendation of staff and citizens alike."  

Other nominees for Employee of the Year were Battle Ground Police officer Chris Crouch; Tamara Gunter, Executive Dept.; Mark Herceg, Engineering Dept.; Kerry Hymas, Public Works; Carol Landwehr, Municipal Court; Joy Lee, Finance & Information Services; Dan Oehler, Finance & Information Services; and Mike Wilcock, Public Works.
