Prudential Northwest Properties broker earns SRES designation

Prudential Northwest Properties' broker Lee Rosendaal, based in the company's Longview branch, was granted a Seniors Real Estate Specialist designation by the National Association of Realtors.

Real estate professionals who are awarded the SRES designation are specifically trained to understand the distinct real estate goals, concerns and needs of seniors today. More than 16,000 real estate professionals have earned the SRES designation.

Prudential Northwest Properties is one of the region's largest real estate services companies, with over 625 sales professionals and 22 offices throughout Oregon and Southwest Washington.

Prudential Northwest Properties, the region's largest locally owned real estate services company, announced the addition of a new team member, Denise Reeves, who will be based at the Columbia Tech Center in Vancouver.

Prior to joining Prudential, Reeves served as an executive strategist with Arvin Meritor, Inc. for several years. A Washougal resident, Reeves graduated from Marylhurst University with a B.A. in Business.

The medical staff of Southwest Washington Medical Center last month selected new leaders for the 1,000 physicians who practice at the regional hospital.

Marilyn Darr, MD, a family practitioner at the hospital, takes the post of president for 2010. The president-elect is Marty Bell, MD, who is medical director of Southwest's Emergency Services. Other officers include general surgeon Robert Douglass, MD, general surgeon Christopher Rubano, MD and pathologist Brad Jensen, MD.

Nicholas Schiller, MD, an anesthesiologist at the hospital, served in the president's role for the past year.

Serving the region for 150 years, Southwest is one of Clark County's largest employers, with 3,400 employees and 600 active medical staff members helping to support dozens of medical specialty services and programs focused on cancer, heart, emergency, trauma, neuro-musculoskeletal, family birth and primary care.
