GVCC announces new communication manager
The Greater Vancouver Chamber of Commerce recently announced Gina Bacon as Communications Manager.
Bacon is responsible for the Chamber's membership magazine, member and community relations, membership directory, public affairs and media relations, among other duties.
A Pacific Northwest native and longtime Clark County resident, Bacon has worked for the Chamber in several communications and public affairs roles over the past 12 years. A journalist by training, Bacon has extensive experience in a variety of public relations/communications positions.
Bacon is currently enrolled in the professional master's of strategic communication program at the University of Oregon's Turnbull Center in Portland. In her spare time, she enjoys creative writing and photography, exploring the great outdoors and participating in running and multi-sport events.
