TIM KRAFT

Otak, Inc. names principal to
Vancouver office

Otak, Inc., an award-winning urban design, planning and engineering firm, announced it has named water resources engineer Tim Kraft as a principal in their Vancouver office.

Kraft has been with the firm for five years and is a project manager and civil engineer with 15 years of experience in engineering and 12 years of experience in construction.

Kraft is part of Otak's water and natural resources team, with his expertise including sewer and stormwater master planning, conveyance system sizing and design, floodplain studies, stream restoration projects and water-related modeling.

One of his recent projects includes the Highway 99 Bridge over Salmon Creek in Clark County, which also won a 2009 Project of the Year Award from the Washington state chapter of the American Public Works Association. Kraft provided sewer pipeline and stream restoration design for the project.

He earned a Master of Science in Environmental and Water Resource Engineering from Portland State University and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Colorado State University.

KAREN KNECHTEL de RENNE

Accountant firm Acuity Group, PLLC has hired Karen Knechtel de Renne, CPA, as associate for their Vancouver office. 

De Renne has 20 years in the accounting field with experience in a range of industries.  She will be in charge of all facets of client engagements.

Acuity Group, PLLC is a forensic accounting firm specializing in fraud investigation, litigation support and other special accounting-related projects. The company recently relocated its offices to 1603 Officers Row in Vancouver's Historic Reserve.
