Local Realtor named “Top Real Estate Professional”

Southwest Washington Hasson Company Realtor Patrick Ginn was recently named one of “The Thousand Top Real Estate Professionals” by The Wall Street Journal and REAL Trends.

Members of this annual list are ranked in the top one-half of one percent of more than 963,000 Realtors nationwide. Kathy Hall, a Portland-based Hasson Company Realtor, also made the list.

“Becoming a member of such an elite group as The Thousand Top Real Estate Professionals is an incredible accomplishment in any market, but what Patrick Ginn and Kathy Hall did during these challenging times is impressive on so many levels,” said Marti Gallardo, vice president of classified advertising for The Wall Street Journal. “Their efforts topped 99.99 percent of the more than 963,000 Realtors nationwide.”

Ginn’s real estate team was also named as a finalist in the Vancouver Business Journal’s 2011 Business Growth Awards for the category of “Fastest Growing Business, 1-5 Years.”

Jennifer Stangel and Brandon LeMay have joined Acuity Group, a Vancouver-based forensic accounting firm, as analysts. Their responsibilities will include research, financial
report reviews, administration and marketing.

Stangel holds a bachelor of arts in business and political science from Linfield College. She has more than 15 years experience in the mortgage industry.

LeMay attended Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. He previously owned two commercial real estate companies and most recently held the position of auction coordinator for Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers.

“I am delighted that Jennifer and Brandon are joining our staff,” said Tiffany Couch, principal of Acuity Group. “Their analytical skills, combined with their attention to detail and customer service, are a perfect fit for our firm.”

Jordan Ramis PC attorney Scott Anders has been appointed by the Vancouver City Council to serve as the at-large member of the city’s fire and building code commission. Anders will serve a six-year term.

The Vancouver Fire and Building Code Commission is a volunteer board made up of at least five members. The commission reviews and makes recommendations to the city council regarding building and fire codes.

As an attorney for Clark County, Anders regularly worked on fire and building code issues. His practice now focuses on real estate, land use, and bankruptcy and creditors’ rights.

Anders earned his degree from the University of Oregon. He earned his doctorate at Lewis and Clark College’s Northwestern School of Law. He is a member of the Washington State Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Clark County Bar Association, Rotary International and the Vancouver Chamber of Commerce.
