Legacy’s Battle Ground clinic welcomes two new doctors

Legacy Medical Group Battle Ground, a primary care clinic serving all of north Clark County, recently announced the addition of two new doctors this month: John Koehler and Jeff Bowden.

Koehler and Bowden join Jeanie White at the clinic, located at The Gardner Center, 1910 Southwest 9th Avenue, Suite 100, in Battle Ground.

“Drs. Koehler and Bowden join Dr. White to offer the highest quality of care to Battle Ground families and individuals,” said Erin Wickum, manager of the Battle Ground clinic.

Koehler comes to Legacy from Southwest Medical Group in Battle Ground. He earned his medical degree from Ohio State University and completed his residency at Family Medicine of SW Washington.

Bowden, a native of Southwest Washington, also comes from Southwest Medical Group. He earned his medical degree from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. He then completed his residency at Malcolm Grow Medical Center at Andrews Air Force Base and served in Iraq in 2007.  

HEIDI BURRES

Barrett and Company PLLC, a Vancouver-based accounting firm, announced that Heidi Burres recently passed the Uniform CPA examination and is now a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of Washington.

As a client service advisor for Barret and Company, Burres is responsible for all phases of accounting, tax and audit engagements as assigned for individual and business clients. 

Burres graduated summa cum laude from Washington State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Certificate of Professional Sales.

Columbia Credit Union (CCU) has announced the hiring of two new employees: Holly Mecalis as indirect loan sales manager and Kyle Schulson as manager of the credit union’s Ridgefield branch.

With more than 20 years of industry experience in indirect lending and dealer services, CCU said Mecalis will develop the credit union’s indirect lending program, supporting the credit union’s goals for quality, volume and profitability.

“We’re focused on expanding our indirect lending efforts,” said Roger Kelso, CCU’s vice president of retail lending. “Holly’s background and expertise will be instrumental in helping us reach our goals.”

In her new role, Mecalis’ responsibilities include generating productive relationships with consumer loan referral sources for auto, marine, RV, home improvement and more.

With more than 14 years of banking industry experience, Schulson will direct goals for branch production, sales, service and market growth. He will also ensure compliance with regulations and policies, and execute leadership and development strategies.

“Kyle’s financial industry sales and service experience make him an ideal leader for our Ridgefield branch,” said Brad Bauges, CCU’s senior vice president and chief operations officer. “Increasing Columbia’s presence in the Ridgefield community will be his main focus – we look forward to Kyle’s contributions.”

Rebound Orthopedics & Neurosurgery has announced the addition of Nick Sabrowski as a physician assistant. 

Sabrowski received his Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Oregon Health and Science University. He also has an Honors Bachelor of Science degree from Oregon State University.

JOHN NORD & JOSEPH AMRINE

Community Home Health & Hospice (CHHH) has announced the addition of two community volunteers to their board of directors: John Nord & Joseph Amrine.

Nord is the owner of Professional Fiduciary Management Services in Vancouver. He is joining the board as a Vancouver resident, supporting CHHH’s plan to extend its services and build a new facility in the Salmon Creek area.

Amrine is the senior vice president and chief credit officer of Fibre Federal Credit Union. He has more than 30 years of experience in the banking industry and has previously worked at Twin City Bank, Columbia Bank, First Interstate Bank and Rainier Bank.
