Wacom introduces Intuos4 pen tablet

Vancouver-based Wacom unveiled the Intuos4 professional pen tablet, which offers optimal control and improved productivity to photographers, designers and artists.

The pen is able to capture the slightest nuance of pen pressure against the tablet surface and offers 2,048 levels of pressure sensitivity – it is the most sensitive Intuos pen tablet to date, according to the company, which was founded in 1983.

Elguji wins IBM innovation awards

Vancouver-based Elguji Software won the IBM Lotus Chief Technology Officer  Innovation and Breakout Technology awards at the 2009 Lotusphere conference.

Also named a finalist for the Best in Showcase award, the company was recognized for IdeaJam – an online suggestion box that allows businesses to gather and manage feedback. The application allows users to rank ideas promote or demote ideas in order of importance, allowing organizations to recognize critical subjects and respond quickly.

Organizations can use IdeaJam with existing infrastructures and gather feedback within 15 minutes
of installation.
