Smiles Dental to honor veterans with $3,000 gift

Area Smiles Dental offices are asking members of the public to nominate a deserving veteran to receive up to $3,000 worth of dental care. This is the second year in a row that the Longview-based company has organized “Smiles for Veterans.”

“There is a huge need for veterans in our community and in our country to receive quality care,

especially when it comes to their oral health. Our team recognized this need and decided to provide this

gift and change a Veteran’s life for the better,” said Dr. Ken Killpack of Smiles Dental Ridgefield.

Each office will randomly select one winner from all the nominees to receive up to a $3,000 gift towards their treatment plan.

“This honorarium is really a way for us (Smiles Dental) to recognize and thank the members of our community who have served this country,” said Dr. Kurt Tingey of Smiles Dental Hazel Dell. “We are happy and proud to give this gift to someone who truly deserves it.”

The deadline to complete and submit each nomination is Wednesday, November 25 at 5 p.m. The winning nominee in each office will be announced on December 1.

Nomination information is available at any Smiles Dental office and their website.
