County releases final environmental report on growth plan “preferred alternative”

Clark County has published a Final Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement for its 2016 Comprehensive Growth Management Plan Update, as required by the State Environmental Policy Act.

Released on Wednesday, the environmental impact study covers the “preferred alternative” as adopted by the Board of County Councilors in February. The proposal includes changes in rural, agricultural and forestry zoning districts, along with some changes in planning and zoning within urban growth areas.
