Columbia Credit Union is just outside of the top 50 healthiest credit unions in the country, according to a national study.
The Vancouver-based financial institution was given an A+ rating and a #51 overall ranking by DepositAccounts.com, a site dedicated to researching the financial health of federally-insured banks and credit unions across the country.
According to the website, a number of factors including deposit growth, available capital and loan-to reserve ratios are used to compile the annual Top 200 Healthiest Credit Unions list.
Longview’s Fibre Federal Credit Union and Vancouver-based People’s Community Credit Union were the only other institutions based in Southwest Washington to appear on the list, ranked #138 and #143, respectively.
