Bank celebrates new location

Banner Bank hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony with the Greater Vancouver Chamber of Commerce earlier this week to celebrate the grand opening of its newest branch location in Vancouver.

The new branch is located in Salmon Creek at 500 NE 139th Street. It was designed by Portland-based Myhre Group Architects.

The new location will be managed by Jennifer Weber, who brings more than 20 years of banking experience to the branch. Active in the community, Weber serves as past president for the Evergreen School District Foundation, board chair for Junior Achievement Vancouver Advisory Board and treasurer for the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra. She is a graduate of Leadership Clark County and is a recipient of the VBJ’s Accomplished and Under 40 (2010).

The bank said it chose the Salmon Creek area for a variety of reasons: an influx of population growth; businesses driving people to the area; and underserved segments of the local community, from a bank branch presence perspective.
