The Vancouver Clinic welcomes new CEO

The Vancouver Clinic (TVC) has named Mark Mantei as its new chief executive officer.

Mantei, who joins TVC from The Everett Clinic in Everett, WA, will provide strategic leadership in support of the Vancouver-based medical group’s patient-focused mission.

“I’m often told The Vancouver Clinic is Southwest Washington’s ‘best kept secret,’” said Mantei in a press release. “Having worked in healthcare for a long time, I can tell you that a proudly local, independent medical group committed to patient-focused care across all life stages is rare in today’s increasingly corporate healthcare environment.”

Mantei has more than 30 years of experience in the health care industry. In his previous position as chief operating officer for The Everett Clinic, he was responsible for overall strategic operations and helped grow the clinic from 50 to nearly 500 providers. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the American Medical Group Association (AMGA).

Mantei holds a master’s degree in healthcare administration/management and a bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting and finance from The University of Michigan.
