Prestige Care, a Vancouver-based provider of senior living, skilled nursing and rehabilitation care, has agreed to acquire four Washington and Idaho communities owned by Carl Campbell, a senior living industry pioneer, for an undisclosed amount.

Effective this fall, the acquisition expands Prestige Care’s presence in regions where the Campbell properties are serving community needs.

The company will assume ownership and management of independent and assisted living communities and skilled nursing centers in the following four locations:

  • Wenatchee, WA: An independent and assisted living community (to be named Prestige Senior Living at Colonial Vista), plus a skilled nursing center (to be named Colonial Vista Post-Acute & Rehabilitation Center)
  • East Wenatchee, WA: An independent and assisted living community (to be named Prestige Senior Living at East Wenatchee)
  • Ellensburg, WA: An independent and assisted living community (to be named Prestige Senior Living at Hearthstone)
  • Nampa, Idaho: An independent and assisted living community (to be named Prestige Senior Living at Karcher Estates), plus a skilled nursing center (to be named Karcher Post-Acute & Rehabilitation Center)

“Welcoming these Campbell communities into our Prestige family is both an honor and a wonderful fit for our organization’s values-driven approach to quality care and service for seniors and their families,” said Harold Delamarter, CEO of Prestige Care, in a press release. “Mr. Campbell has had a profound impact on this industry and we are grateful for the opportunity to continue sharing his legacy as we work to enrich the lives of our new community members.”

“When I began this journey into the senior living industry, I never imagined our organization would grow in to what it is today and touch so many families across the Northwest,” Campbell said. “Over the years, Campbell communities have earned positive reputations for the care and service we share with our residents – treating them as if they were members of our own family. I have complete confidence that Prestige will carry on that tradition and uphold the values we share as caregivers.”

Prestige Care and Prestige Senior Living operate a family of more than 70 senior communities throughout the western United States. The company’s corporate headquarters is located in Vancouver at 7700 NE Parkway Drive, Suite 300.
