“I have been privileged to lead Identity Clark County and have appreciated working with the Identity Clark County Board of directors and investors on matters of critical importance to our community,” Montague said in a press release.

In an email to investors, ICC Chair Scott Milam said the organization’s board of directors will meet to discuss transition plans and to begin the process of selecting a new president. In the interim, he said ICC’s executive committee will ensure that the organization’s program and administration functions are covered.

“We are appreciative of Paul’s hard work during the past several years which proved to be a grueling and arduous period in our community’s evolution,” said Milam. “We wish Paul the very best in his new capacity, as well as his many community, business and philanthropic endeavors, in the years ahead.”

Identity Clark County was born in 1993 to create tools and influence public policies that enhance the economic health of the region. The organization has approximately 60 investors and maintains an office in downtown Vancouver and a presence in Olympia.
