Coffee and wine bar opens

Located at 2707 N.E. 114th Avenue in Vancouver, Mantra Espresso & Wine Bar serves Stumptown coffee and espresso, loose leaf teas, 20-plus Northwest microbrews, 50-plus wines by the glass and 100-plus wines by the bottle. The bar also offers gourmet cheeses and desserts. Owned by Martin Flynn, Ron Ford and Sid Oxford, Mantra opened its doors last June.

Specialized medical store relocates

Saffron's Specialized Medical, formerly Mary Catherine's, is moving next month to a new location at 13215 S.E. Mill Plain Blvd. The store serves mastectomy, lymphedema and compression patients, offering medical products, garments, accessories and gifts. The relocated store will include a healing center for quiet reflection with a soothing ambience and comfortable seating.

Working-out Fort Vancouver-style

CrossFit Fort Vancouver opened last June at 1901 E. "D" St. downtown. According to owner Adam Neiffler, the gym helps clients improve overall health with a challenging, effective and affordable fitness system.
