Vancouver-based RS Medical has adopted a new growth plan and new organizational focus in response to “increasingly difficult” reimbursement rates on products paid for by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and commercial insurance.
The new organization will be dedicated to providing chronic pain solutions to practitioners within the VA and their patients.
“We’ve been supporting VA Medical Centers for the past several years and we expect to be even more successful with a sharp, focused management team,” said RS Medical President and CEO Rick Terrell.
Currently, the company provides electrotherapy, bracing, traction and other specialty products used by Veterans to provide relief from chronic pain. RS Medical expects to broaden its offering to the VA through both organic growth and partnerships with other companies.
The company expects to complete its transition in the next several months.
