LEED certification for Columbia Shores

C.E. John Company, Inc. received a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design silver certification from the U.S. Green Building Council for the Columbia Shores Office Condominium in Vancouver last week.

The completion of the Class A office building, built by James E. John Construction Co., Inc., concluded the final phase of a waterfront development including McMenamins and Beaches restaurants, Meriwether Condominiums and an additional office complex.

According to a company spokesperson, the building uses 23.7 percent less energy than a comparable new office building.

This is the first LEED certification achieved by C.E. John Company or James E. John Construction Co.
