Honey Ridge Farms receives ‘Good Food’ award

Brush Prairie-based Honey Ridge Farms has received 2015 Good Food Awards for its Clover Honey Crème and pure Balsamic Honey Vinegar.

The local family-owned business was among 150 award winners announced last week at a gala in San Francisco. More than 1,400 entries in 11 different categories were considered.

The awards honor food producers and farmers “who push their industries towards craftsmanship and sustainability while enhancing our agricultural landscape and building strong communities.”

“Being a winner speaks to the level of quality and care we put into making the finest Clover Honey Crème and pure Balsamic Honey Vinegar,” said Leeanne Goetz, owner of Honey Ridge Farms. “To be recognized as a leader in our category and [to] receive the Good Food Awards seal assures customers we’ve met the highest standards possible with regard to flavor, sustainability and production. It’s a great honor.
