Former Insitu CEO to speak at CREDC event

Sliwa was CEO of Insitu from 2002 through early 2011. During that time, Insitu grew from four employees to 800+ employees and $400 million in revenue. Insitu is a developer of UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles) for the military and civilian applications.

Prior to Insitu, Sliwa had a varied career that included serving as a research manager at NASA, and as president of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.

In his talk, Sliwa will describe the breakthroughs in Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) technology, business model innovations, and the luck that
led to Insitu’s rapid growth and success.
