Clark County: Vegetation Management moves, becomes part of Public Works

Clark County Vegetation Management, a division responsible for controlling noxious weeds, is now part of the county’s Public Works department.

According to the county, the move is part of a cost-saving reorganization. The division is now located on the first floor of the Public Service Center, 1300 Franklin St. in Vancouver.

Vegetation Management previously was based at the Center for Agriculture, Science and Environmental Education (CASEE) in Brush Prairie.

The division could eventually move to the Public Works’ 78th Street Operations Center, 4700 N.E. 78th St., the county said.
